I am an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA. Prior to starting at Brandeis in August 2019, I was an assistant professor at Lehman College, CUNY. I received my PhD from the University of California, Berkeley.

I work primarily in the philosophy of mind, metaphysics and early modern philosophy. I am particularly interested in the metaphysics of perceptual experience and the nature of sensible qualities.

For the 2022-2023 academic year, I was a William J. Bouwsma and NEH Fellow at the National Humanities Center in North Carolina.
