I am a PhD candidate in Philosophy at the University of California, Berkeley. Starting in August 2017, I will be an assistant professor of philosophy at CUNY Lehman College in New York City. I work primarily in the philosophy of mind and metaphysics. I am particularly interested in the metaphysics of perceptual experience and the nature of sensible qualities.

Currently, I am a Co-Principal Investigator on a year-long project titled "Grounding Sensible Qualities," funded by the New Directions in the Study of Mind project at Cambridge. As part of the project, I am organizing a conference on the sensible qualities in May 2017.  Information about the conference can be found here.

I grew up in New Delhi and currently live in Oakland.
